Symptoms of arthritis can lead to extreme pain and lack of mobility, which can have a dramatic impact on everyday activities.

Although arthritis can’t by completely cured there are a number of ways to treat the symptoms of arthritis naturally, to make sure you can live a full and happy life.

Natural Ways to Treat Symptoms of Arthritis

Acupuncture is one of the most effective natural treatments for arthritis, and according to the World Health Organization regular treatments by a qualified acupuncturist can ease joint pain, reduce stiffness and inflammation, and provide a greater range of joint mobility and movement.

Magnet therapy is also an effective self help method of relieving the symptoms of arthritis. Wearing a magnet on the inner wrist next to a pulse point will improve circulation and break down toxic crystal deposits that have formed around the joints. Drink plenty of water if you are using magnet therapy to wash out the toxins.

Other complementary therapies that may relieve the pain and stiffness which are symptoms of arthritis include color therapy, with blue light being used to ease the pain of rheumatoid arthritis, massage, with shiatsu and reflexology being widely used, and gentle yoga style exercises.
